If you are looking for the perfect place to elope in Washington, Franklin Falls is one of the easiest locations to access but still has an epic waterfall! Seriously, is it in Washington or Iceland?! Waterfalls are one of my favorite things to photograph and I was so excited to take Kelsey and Ian here on their elopement day! It was actually the first hike I did in Washington when I moved here in 2020 and it holds a special place in my heart

Kelsey and Ian love spending time together in nature, but weren’t the biggest hikers so I planned a day of easy hikes with incredible views! Arriving before sunrise, Kelsey and Ian got ready in the coolest VW Westfalia that they rented in Seattle

We made our way to their ceremony location at Gold Creek Pond. Its an easy walk to the edge of the lake and we were lucky enough to still see the mountains in the background even with the morning fog! They had a private sunrise ceremony and were able to enjoy the quiet morning.

After they said their vows and enjoyed their first moments as a married couple, we took a short drive over to Franklin Falls where we had an easy 2 mile hike. Kelsey did the whole thing in her wedding dress! Franklin Falls in one of the best elopement locations near Seattle and during sunrise you can have the falls all to yourself!

It was an amazing morning in the Snoqualmie National Forest with typical moody Washington vibes and lots of privacy!
