Sage and Josh had the most incredible sunset for their Artist Point Elopement in September! Joined by their parents, they had a special day getting ready at their Airbnb, saying their vows at Picture Lake, and taking magical sunset portraits at Artist Point before heading back to their Airbnb for their first dance, pizza, and cake! Getting Ready

For their elopement, Sage and Josh found the cutest Airbnb in Concrete, Washington! They were originally supposed to elope in North Cascades National Park but do to wildfires we had to switch our plan to Artist Point (which meant a longer drive). They got ready seperately and we had their first look outside the cabin, overlooking the river. Afterwards, we started the drive up to Artist Point for their ceremony!

Ceremony At Picture Lake

Imagine saying your vows with Mt. Shuksan and its reflection in the background- that’s exactly what Sage and Josh did with their closest family! Their ceremony was short and sweet and officiated by Josh’s mom! We then headed up to Artist Point for a short hike and more photos with incredible mountain views!

Sunset At Artist Point

Even though it was a sunny day, it was still pretty cold up here at the end of September! Sage wore Josh’s jacket for a while and we hiked quickly to keep warm. It was a perfect cloudless sky and the fall colors were incredible! The hike from Artist Point to Huntoon Point is about one mile and there are some rocks and small hills but overall it’s pretty easy, even for family!

First Dance & Cake

After sunset, we drove back to their Airbnb for their private first dance as a couple. It was freezing outside and Sage and Josh had to cuddle close! Then we had pizza and cake from Lady Grey in Seattle! It was the perfect end to an amazing elopement day.
