Daisy and Erick’s elopement was sweet, intimate, and full of little moments. They traveled from Orlando, Florida, to Olympic National Park to say their vows in a way that felt just right for them. It’s no wonder they picked Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach. These two have been writing their love story since middle school when they met on the school bus, and it’s been one big adventure ever since. From high school sweethearts to lifelong partners, they’ve always known they wanted to elope together since those early days.

Meeting at Marymere Falls
We kicked off Daisy and Erick’s big day in the Olympic National Park parking lot, and I could feel their excitement the second we met. They had this contagious sense of “we are actually doing this.”
Our first stop was Marymere Falls, which couldn’t have been a better way to ease into the day. It’s a short hike surrounded by a green canopy of mossy, towering trees with the sound of the waterfall in the distance. This part of the day gave us time to settle into the rhythm of the adventure while taking in the forest’s magic. Plus, starting the day with a peaceful hike was the perfect way to build anticipation for the big moment ahead.

A Little Adventure to Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach
After soaking it in at Marymere Falls, we headed to the coast for the main event—Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach. It’s about a mile and a half each way, with beautiful scenery. Timing this part of the day was crucial. Getting to Hole in the Wall at low tide is key. We planned it perfectly to hit the spot when the tide was out far enough to explore the tide pools and, most importantly, get that photo of Daisy and Erick standing inside the arch—two tiny figures framed by the massive rock formation. All that planning was so worth it. The tidepools were so neat! We found starfish and bright sea anemones and even spotted some cute sea otters nearby.

Emotional Vows, Celebrating, and a Magical Walk Back
What better way to celebrate the day than a picnic on the beach? Daisy and Erick kept things cozy and simple, spreading a blanket on the sand and sharing a post-hike meal and cake. There wasn’t a dry eye when Daisy and Erick stood together to exchange their vows at Hole in the Wall. They shared a deep, genuine love that you feel in your bones. A couple traveling from the Netherlands signed their marriage certificate. I love that they get to add such sweet and unexpected details to their story.
As the sun set, we started the hike from Hole in the Wall. Surprise fireworks lit up the sky further down the beach. Like, what perfect timing!? When we returned to the parking lot, it was dark, and the trail was lit only by our lanterns. The day had been an adventure in every way. It was everything Daisy and Erick had ever hoped for, wrapped up in a day that was uniquely their own.

A Love Note From Daisy and Erick
“My now wife and I spent a year after getting engaged trying to plan our elopement, but between work and life, we simply didn’t make much progress on our own. When we finally decided we wanted to get married in the PNW, my genius wife found Hannah within 10 minutes. She was basically everything we needed. She meets with you virtually to nail down your vision for your wedding day.
Hannah also provides a list of vendors close to your chosen wedding destination to acquire all the other wedding necessities like a bouquet, wedding cake, and hair and makeup. She’s also the wedding officiant and helps you handle the paperwork needed to get legally married. And, of course, she takes absolutely breathtaking photos. Basically, she makes it all so easy.
Plus, she’s incredibly nice and easy to talk to. Hannah made us feel comfortable while we were hiking miles in a suit and wedding dress while everyone else was dressed in outdoor attire. She was also very patient and accommodating with any requested photos or poses. She was also very good at directing us on how to pose for great photos and portraits.
I’ll forever be grateful to her for making our wedding day easy and special and making our photos look like something out of a dream. Every person I know has personally complimented our wedding photos, but most importantly, my wife and I love to look back at them together.”
