Waterfall Elopement in Washington State | Falls Creek Falls

One of my favorite waterfalls in Washington, Falls Creek Falls is an epic double waterfall located in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. It is a short 3.4 mile roundtrip hike with only 750 ft. of elevation gain. This was Lindsay and Jake’s first time in Washington State and I couldn’t wait to show them this epic waterfall! Their waterfall elopement was simple and sweet and I can’t believe how amazing their photos turned out!

After leisurely hiking to the falls, Lindsay and Jake changed into their wedding attire while we waited for other hikers to leave. We ended up having the falls all to ourselves for the evening (even on a busy memorial day weekend)! After saying their vows, they hiked down a super steep section to the main overlook!

The falls were really roaring this time of year and Lindsay and Jake were constantly getting sprayed by the waterfall- just one thing you have to consider when planning a waterfall elopement! Luckily it was a warm day and they didn’t get too wet or cold!

Once the sun set we brought out some lanterns for some fun, moody photos! Lindsay and Jake just had the coolest vibe and were so fun to hangout with!

We hiked back to our cars in the dark and said our goodbyes! Their waterfall elopement was one of my favorites and I can’t wait to show this beautiful place to more amazing couples!
