Daniel and Melissa had the most incredible sunny day at the end of October for their elopement with their daughters! Their elopement at Olympic National Park had some of the best fall colors I’ve ever seen in the Hoh Rainforest! October can be a rainy time of year in Washington but Daniel and Melissa had the best luck with a cold but sunny day. Getting Ready & First Look at Lake Sutherland
Daniel and Melissa got ready at the most amazing cabin on Lake Sutherland with its own private dock! Melissa helped her daughters with their hair and makeup before putting on her dress and heading out to the dock for her first look with Daniel! It was such a sweet moment with epic views of the snow-covered mountains and fall colors in the background! Hike at Hoh Rainforest
After an hour and a half drive, we arrived at the Hoh Rainforest for our hike! The fall colors here were unbelievable and the Hoh Rainforest has never looked better! We had to hike to keep warm but it’s only about a mile roundtrip to do the entire Hall of Mosses loop. The sun was shining so perfectly through the trees (this doesn’t happen often in one of the rainiest places in the world). Melissa had the most beautiful bouquet from Farm and Flower that perfectly matched the fall colors!
Sunset at Ruby Beach
After another hour of driving, we arrived at Ruby Beach! It’s a short walk down to the beach and at low tide we were able to explore the sea stacks! They had the sweetest ceremony with their 3 daughters and we spent the rest of the evening exploring the beach (though it was pretty cold by this time). Daniel and Melissa made some incredible memories for their fall elopement day in Olympic National Park!
