Fall Elopement at Mount Rainier National Park | Reflection Lake & Myrtle Falls

Fall in Mount Rainier National Park is easily my favorite time of year to elope! The foliage is changing colors, the air is crisp, and the mountain can have some fresh snow after melting all summer. Melaina and Austin chose early September for their elopement and we had the perfect sunrise at Reflection Lake and Myrtle Falls! If you’re interested in an elopement at Mount Rainier National Park this fall, check out my guide here for more information!

Ceremony at Reflection Lake

We met at Reflection Lake before sunrise to get to their ceremony spot. It was a peaceful morning with the most perfect clouds over Mount Rainier! Melaina and Austin read their vows as the sun was rising and the clouds started turning pink. It was such a magical way to start their elopement day! After their ceremony, we took some more photos with Mount Rainier in the background and then headed up to Paradise for a short walk to Myrtle Falls!

Portraits with Mount Rainier

We had a perfectly clear day with amazing views of the mountain! It really doesn’t get any better than this!

Hike to Myrtle Falls

After taking some photos along the drive, we headed up to Paradise so we could hike to Myrtle Falls! At only .8 miles roundtrip, it’s doable for everyone! The path is paved almost the entire way and you get incredible views of the mountain with minimal effort. This is a very popular spot so I recommend coming at sunrise for more privacy!

A-Frame AirBNB Reception

After our hike at Myrtle Falls, we headed back to their adorable A-Frame AirBNB in Packwood for cake and to pop champagne! Melaina and Austin had the perfect fall elopement at Mount Rainier National Park! We had amazing views of the mountain, beautiful weather, and made some incredible memories to start off their marriage!
