Madison and Jacob’s spring Bridal Veil Falls elopement just felt like the Pacific Northwest—moody skies, the scent of rain in the air, and moss growing on literally everything. It was about the two of them carving out a little corner where they could be fully present with each other and two ridiculously beautiful waterfalls.
We wandered through the quiet trails near Bridal Veil Falls and Latourell Falls, surrounded by damp forest and the soothing sound of water rushing from recent rain. Everything was lush and alive in that early spring way. It was so peaceful. If you’ve ever dreamed of a waterfall elopement that feels like a cozy adventure into the woods, this is your sign.

A First Look & Private Vows at Bridal Veil Falls
Before anything else, Madison and Jacob shared a first look tucked beside a rushing creek—the sweetest moment. The forest gave them this little pocket of privacy while her veil caught the breeze.
A short walk down a quiet, misty trail brought us to Bridal Veil Falls, where they exchanged their vows in total seclusion. No one else was around—just the roaring waterfall and the trees standing tall around them. It all felt sacred in the simplest, most beautiful way.

Columbia River Gorge Elopement Exploring
Once the vows were said, we wandered. The trails were soaked in spring rain—ferns, moss, and damp earth everywhere you looked.
After exploring, we headed to a little riverside spot and set up a cozy picnic. Madison pulled out a Jetboil and started making hot chocolate while still in her dress (iconic), and they shared mugs under the trees like it was the most normal thing in the world. It was a wholesome and grounded moment.

Latourell Falls Elopement Portraits
To wrap up the day, we made our way to Latourell Falls—and wow, it did not hold back. The waterfall was raging from all the spring rain, mist flying everywhere, and the sound echoing off the rocks. Madison and Jacob popped a bottle of champagne, soaked in the moment, and just celebrated. It was a perfect way to close out their day.
